Tasman Holiday Parks has officially welcomed Easts Beach BIG4 Holiday Park in Kiama into its growing trans-Tasman portfolio, marking a major milestone for the business as the iconic NSW South Coast destination becomes the 50th park in the Tasman network.

One of Australia’s most tightly held holiday park assets, Easts Beach has remained under the stewardship of the Easts family for more than 90 years. The acquisition represents an incredibly rare opportunity to continue the story of a landmark beachfront holiday park with deep historical roots, an unrivalled coastal position and a long-standing connection to generations of Australian holidaymakers.

Set directly on the spectacular NSW South Coast, Easts Beach is widely regarded as one of Australia’s most iconic beachfront holiday parks. Positioned on the shoreline just minutes from Kiama township, the park has long been a favourite for families chasing salty mornings, beachside camping trips, relaxed coastal escapes and family holidays that become lifelong traditions.

The acquisition brings with it a rich legacy built over generations by the Easts family, whose deep connection to the park and local community has helped shape Easts Beach into the much-loved Kiama holiday destination it is today.

Tasman Holiday Parks CEO Nikki Milne said the acquisition represents an exciting new chapter grounded in respect for the park’s history, its strong community connection and a long-term commitment to regional tourism investment.

“Today is an incredibly significant moment for our business. Welcoming Easts Beach as our 50th park is a milestone we are extremely proud of, but more importantly, it is the opportunity to become custodians of such a deeply loved and historically important destination,” Ms Milne said.

“For more than nine decades, the Easts family has built something truly special. The passion, care and sense of community that defines Easts Beach is something we deeply respect and are committed to preserving as we look to the future.”

“We would like to sincerely thank the Easts family for placing their trust in Tasman Holiday Parks as partners in this next chapter. We know how much this park means to the family, the local community and generations of guests, and we feel incredibly privileged to continue that story.”

Known for its absolute beachfront location, relaxed coastal atmosphere, family-focused experiences and strong ties to the Kiama community, Easts Beach has become one of the South Coast’s most recognisable holiday destinations, attracting visitors from across New South Wales and beyond.

Tasman Holiday Parks has confirmed that significant investment into the future development of the property will be a key focus under its ownership, with plans centred around enhancing guest experiences, expanding tourism capacity and supporting the continued growth of the Kiama region as a premier holiday destination.

“At Tasman, we believe holiday parks play an important role in regional communities. They support local jobs, stimulate tourism economies and become part of the traditions and memories shared across generations,” Ms Milne said.

“We are excited about the future of Easts Beach and the opportunity to thoughtfully invest in the park over the long term, while protecting the character, warmth and community spirit that people know and love.”

The acquisition further strengthens Tasman Holiday Parks’ position as one of Australasia’s leading holiday park operators, with a growing portfolio spanning Australia and New Zealand across beachfront, regional and nature-based destinations.

Tasman Holiday Parks also acknowledged the Easts Beach team, recognising the important role staff play in continuing the park’s legacy and delivering memorable guest experiences for years to come.

For Tasman, the future of Easts Beach is about building on what already makes the destination so special: preserving the relaxed coastal charm, strengthening its connection to the community and continuing to create the kinds of holiday moments guests return for generation after generation.
