Marshmallows, mates, and a whole lot of crackling ambience - if a proper fire pit is non-negotiable for your next trip, we've hunted down every park in the network that lets you get your flame on. Here's the full rundown, region by region.

New South Wales 🌊

Tasman Holiday Parks Kioloa - BYO fire pit country. Bring your own contained firepit (off the ground, please) and you're set - just complete a fire safety waiver at check-in and keep an eye on the weather. No gale-force nights allowed.

Tasman Holiday Parks Merimbula - Communal fire pit, fully hosted. Book it through reception, and the park supplies the firewood, firelighter and gas lighter - you just bring the marshmallows. Available low and mid-season only, and lights-out is 10pm sharp.

Tasman Holiday Parks Wisemans Ferry - Another BYO-friendly spot. Fire pits and braziers are welcome on site - just don't walk away and leave it unattended.

Tasman Holiday Parks Merool on the Murray - Riverside fires are a go here too. BYO a fire pit with legs (keep it off the grass) and settle in for a Murray River sunset.

Tasman Holiday Parks Lake Mulwala - The full package. A gorgeous communal lakeside fire pit for cooler-month evenings, PLUS individual fire pits permitted on powered sites (excluding cabins) - hire one from the park or bring your own. Just note the permanent fire ban from 1 October to 31 March each year, so this one's a cool-season specialty.

BIG4 Tasman Holiday Parks Racecourse Beach - Fire pits get the green light on camping sites, plus gas BBQs scattered round the park for when the snags need tending too.

Tasman Holiday Parks Jervis Bay - A communal fire pit for the cosy fireside hangs, backed up by gas BBQs for anyone who'd rather grill than gather round the flames.

Tasman Holiday Parks Myola - Hire a fire pit from reception (seasonal), perfect for chasing off the evening chill. Just note: no fire pits on cabin verandahs, and they're off the table on Total Fire Ban days.

Victoria 🏔️

Tasman Holiday Parks South Bright - The full fire pit experience. Cabins with fireplaces, BYO fire pits allowed, a communal area AND firewood for sale ($25 wood, $20 kindling) - this one's basically built for fire lovers. Firepit hire is $20 per stay.

BIG4 Tasman Holiday Parks Bendigo - Communal fire pit, staff-tended. It's lit and fed by the team only (no charcoal BBQs allowed elsewhere in the park), and extinguished at 10pm.

BIG4 Tasman Holiday Parks Warrnambool - Staff-lit, guest-enjoyed. Just ask and one of the team will get the communal fire pit going for you, firewood included. Personal fire pits aren't permitted on sites, but honestly - why would you need one when someone else is doing the work?

Western Australia 🌅

Tasman Holiday Parks Serpentine Falls  - BYO fires welcome, provided your pit is off the ground and you flag it with the office on arrival. Just be a good neighbour about the smoke.

Tasman Holiday Parks Yallingup Caves  - Communal fire pit at the Caves site (not at Beach), with complimentary firewood supplied Friday and Saturday nights. Cosy weekend vibes guaranteed.

Tasmania 🏝️

Tasman Holiday Parks St Helens - No site fires here, but a communal fire pit is available for guest use - as long as there's no Total Fire Ban in place. Always worth a quick check with reception on the day.
