School holidays have a funny way of sneaking up. One minute you’re counting down to freedom, the next you’re googling “things to do with kids near me” at 7am.

At Tasman Holiday Parks, we’ve learnt that the best school holiday memories don’t come from over-planning - they come from simple moments, a bit of surprise, and space for kids to just be kids.

Each park updates their activities every month, giving you the best possible opportunity to plan ahead - while still leaving plenty of room for spontaneity. From family-friendly favourites to one-off holiday surprises, it’s all there when you need it.

Hot spots: Easter school holiday fun

This summer, a few of our parks are turning things up with in-park experiences designed especially for school holidays.

Tasman Holiday Parks - Racecourse Beach

📅11 April 2026 | ⏰ 3pm

An afternoon made for curious kids and brave little explorers. It all kicks off with our Reptile Show, where friendly experts bring along some incredible scaly guests - sharing fun facts, surprising stories, and plenty of “wow” moments along the way.

Magic, music, and memories - the kind that only happen on holiday ✨

Bubble machines on. Pool toys out. Shoes… absolutely optional at Racecourse Beach, NSW.

Tasman Holiday Parks - Papamoa Beach

📅 3 April 2026 | ⏰ 6pm

An evening made for glitter, giggles, and very enthusiastic dance moves. The Silent Disco is your chance to turn the holiday fun all the way up - with favourite songs, flashing lights, and plenty of space to bust a move.

Warning: parents may be asked to join in.

Papamoa Beach brings the wild and wonderful.

School holidays don’t need to be packed to be memorable. Sometimes all it takes is the right place, a little room to roam, and a few moments of unexpected fun along the way.
