Serpentine Falls cascades over a huge granite rock face 15 metres into the rock pool below. The best time of year to see it at its full flow is during the winter months. It’s the perfect place to escape the big smoke and laze around the natural rock pools with a good picnic.There are many other things to see and do at Serpentine Falls National Park. Take a 6-kilometre walk on the Baldwins Bluff Nature Track which passes through Jarrah and Marri woodlands leading to a spectacular view over the valley. If you’re up for a tougher challenge, take a 14-kilometre hike on the Kitty’s Gorge Walk Track.After all this walking you’re bound to have worked up an appetite.
