Famous for its mineral pools, Tasman Holiday Parks – Miranda unbeknownst to many, also has fantastic facilities for dogs. The enclosed dog-friendly sites are perfect for allowing your pet to run off-leash and enjoy some freedom in a safe space. They also have pet-friendly sites available, however these are not enclosed so owners are asked to keep dogs on a lead at all times and kept out of all communal areas and rooms.

Tasman Holiday Parks – Papamoa Beach

Tasman Holiday Parks – Papamoa Beach is another fantastic pet-friendly destination where dogs are welcome on sites. Bring the camper or pack the tent and savour the stunning beachfront access at Tasman Holiday Parks – Papamoa Beach, taking your pup for a stroll along the beach or explore the nearby reserves. However, pets are allowed on camping and caravan sites for guests with their own setups, but not from 19 December to 9 February, or during Easter and Labour Weekend. Pets aren’t permitted in roofed accommodation, except for registered service animals with valid certification.

Tasman Holiday Parks – Ōhiwa is a great escape for dog owners. Pets are welcome to stay with you year-round, with the exception of 20 December to 15 January, as well as blackout dates including long weekends and school holidays. For everyone’s comfort and safety, all pets must be kept on a lead at all times and are not permitted in main facility areas.

Pets are welcome across most accommodation types and sites, excluding poolside cabins. Charges apply per day for pets staying in cabins, while there is no additional charge for sites.
