Spread the Joy this Christmas

Spread the Joy this Christmas

This Christmas, Tasman Holiday Parks is delighted to partner with Foster Hope, a non-profit organisation dedicated to bringing joy to children in need. The Foster Hope Christmas Gift Drive collects gifts for children from newborns through to 18-year-olds, ensuring that those who may not otherwise receive a present feel the holiday spirit. Each of our ten parks across New Zealand will serve as a drop-off location for new, unwrapped gifts until 1st December. Join us in making Christmas a little brighter for some incredible young Kiwis.

Guidelines for Gifts

To ensure every child receives a safe and suitable present, we ask that you follow these important guidelines:

  • New Toys Only: All gifts must be brand new.
  • No Weapons or Food Items: Please avoid any items that are weapon-themed or food-related.
  • Value Limit: Gifts should be valued at no more than $30.
  • Neutral Wording: Gifts should not mention “mum,” “dad,” or families.
  • Size: There is no physical size limit for gifts.
  • No Batteries Needed: Gifts should not require batteries.
  • Unwrapped Gifts: All gifts must remain unwrapped for inspection by a coordinator. Gift bags or cellophane wrapping are acceptable if you’d like to add a touch of holiday cheer.

By adhering to these guidelines, we can ensure each gift is appropriate, safe, and ready for distribution to children across New Zealand.

Gift Ideas

Need some inspiration for the perfect gift? Here are some ideas that kids of all ages will love:

  • Young Kids: Toy cars and trucks, Lego sets, snuggle rugs
  • Outdoor Fun: Beach bags, towels, jandals, rugby or soccer balls
  • Creative Play: Craft kits, jewellery-making kits, jewellery for ages 7–18
  • Teens: Headphones, toiletry sets, make-up bags or jewellery boxes with a small surprise like moisturiser or bath gel

Please remember: Toys need to be new and unwrapped to ensure the safety and suitability of each gift.

Let’s come together to make this Christmas memorable for children in need. We invite you to drop off your gift at any Tasman Holiday Park before 1st December and thank you for helping to bring joy to kids across New Zealand.
