Queensland
The Fraser Coast is the spot for whale watching in Queensland. The sheltered waters of Hervey Bay is a favourite for Humpback whales to teach their young in the calm and sheltered waters around K’gari (Fraser Island).
New South Wales
With its unspoiled beaches and lush landscapes, the NSW coast offers many destinations for whale watching. From Jervis Bay and the Sapphire Coast to the Far North Coast, Tasman Holiday Parks have a range of holiday parks to stay at and look for whales.
Victoria
The sheltered waters of Lady Bay in Warrnambool provide the perfect location to spot the Southern Right Whale. The protected bay is a favourite spot for these majestic creatures to birth and raise their calves.
Western Australia
Experience the awe-inspiring sight of majestic Humpback, Southern Right, and Blue whales during their annual migration from May to December, journeying from the southwest of Western Australia to the northern regions.
