Queensland

With its laidback towns, stunning beaches and endless sunshine, Queensland invites you to kick back in the ultimate holiday playground.

From the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest on the north coast, to Fraser Coast whale watching in the south, Queensland will delight you.

If you love your ocean adventures, why not dive and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, or take a cruise in a glass-bottomed boat? Sail the Whitsundays in a tall ship or schooner, swim in azure waters, fish off palm-fringed beaches, catch a water taxi to Dunk Island, or jet ski around Magnetic Island.

There’s no shortage of wildlife to keep you busy. Go platypus-spotting in Cairns, marvel at cassowaries in the Daintree Rainforest, swim with fish and turtles in waterfall-fed rock pools.

After all that activity, time to relax over great food and drink at a waterfront bar, market stall or gourmet restaurant.

New South Wales.

Where better than NSW to find every kind of holiday experience? This action-packed state really does have it all, with something for every visitor.

Up and down the coastline, you’ll find water sports, sweeping beaches, great walks and caravan parks nestled in extraordinary natural beauty. Join a deep sea fishing charter or take a scenic cruise. Visit delightful towns, wineries, specialist shops and restaurants.

Try all the delicious local produce, including avocados, macadamias, freshly caught seafood, locally grown coffee and craft beers. You won’t regret it!

Geographically, Victoria is one of the smallest Australian states. With a good road network, and heaps of different experiences packed in, there is always something new to experience!

Melbourne and Geelong, the state’s second largest city, offer a smorgasbord of arts, music and theatre. Along with a sophisticated cultural scene, Geelong also has a bustling waterfront with plenty of family action.

On the scenic south-western coastline, follow the spectacular Great Ocean Road as it winds its way through attractive seaside towns and rocky coves. Stay a while in Warrnambool, with its enviable waterfront setting, then head inland to the Goldfields town of Bendigo, where living history awaits. Discover how the gold rush of the 1850s changed Australia and the world.

Then spend some time in the heady alpine air of the High Country. Stay in the beautiful town of Bright, surrounded by stunning mountain ranges.
