What’s the Winter Special at Coromandel?

Winter is a fantastic time to visit Coromandel! Stay warm and comfortable with our heated ablution blocks, three indoor kitchens, two undercover BBQ and seating areas, two TV rooms, and a games room with table tennis and foosball—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

There’s still plenty to see and do during the cooler months, including scenic bush walks, fishing charters, the iconic Driving Creek Railway, The Waterworks, and a visit to Hot Water Beach, where you can dig your own natural hot pool at low tide. Winter is also a great time to enjoy local fishing competitions, hiking trails, and seasonal festivals, with fewer crowds and plenty of crisp, sunny days.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are welcome on campsites and in selected cabins. They must be kept on a lead at all times.
Please note: No pets are permitted from 20 December to 20 January.

Can we have a campfire or BBQ?

No open fires are to be lit at any time. We have BBQs and a pizza oven available for guest use.
