Visit Fraser Island

You can’t visit this coast without experiencing the world’s largest island. With its endless sand dunes, crystal clear waters, lush rainforests, rock pools and wildlife, K’Gari (Fraser Island) truly lives up to its name, which means ‘paradise’.

A definite bucket list attraction, you can explore the island yourself on foot or by 4WD, but we’d recommend taking a guided tour to ensure you don’t miss a thing.

Walk the Urangan Pier

The Urangan Pier in Hervey Bay is a historic landmark, and a magnificent one at that! The pier is over 1km long and offers gorgeous views of the bay and its surrounding area. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the pier, taking in the surrounding turquoise waters, white sandy beach and the marine life passing by.

Whale Watching

One of the most prime locations for whale watching, if you are visiting any time from the end of June to November you are sure to experience some up-close humpback whale action. It is highly recommended to book a whale watching tour and head out to see these magnificent creatures mere meters away as they migrate along the coastline.

Stay a while at Tasman Holiday Parks – Fraser Coast to ensure you don’t miss any of the attractions this beautiful region has on offer!
