Hop on the ferry to Magnetic Island, a rare ‘dry tropical’ island with rocky terrain and wonderful wildlife. Hire a jet ski or try your hand at big game fishing. Nature lovers are in for a treat with wildlife sanctuaries, botanical parks and tropical gardens. And don’t miss the stunning views from Castle Hill.

THE MUSEUM OF UNDERWATER ART

Discover the treasures of the deep with amazing underwater sculptures by the legendary Jason deCaires Taylor. ‘Ocean Siren’ is accessible from The Strand or suit up and take a guided tour of ‘Coral Greenhouse’ at sea.
