The Marine Discovery Centre is one of Australia’s largest privately funded museums and an amazing showcase for our precious marine environment.
The centre is designed to inspire and educate visitors of all ages. The centre features state-of-the-art light and sound technology, complete with interactive digital terminals and world-class coastal science displays.

Located in the heart of our North Star holiday park, the Marine Discovery Centre helps visitors to better understand and care for the ocean, including its creatures and the vital ecosystems that support them.
The museum focuses on the unprecedented challenges facing marine life. These include climate change, marine litter, dangerous plastic waste, pollutants and intensive fishing.

WATER PARK
This exhilarating aqua playground will keep the kids cool on the hottest days. With playground, lagoon swimming pool, wading pool and two giant Super Slides, they’ll be engrossed for hours.
KIDS CLUB
Family-friendly, educational, and packed with fun activities. Aimed at keeping children aged 3-12 engaged every fun-filled minute.
