YEPPOON LAGOON

Immerse yourself in this 2,500 square metre resort-style infinity edge pool on the beachfront. Enjoy the spectacular outlook, swim laps or play with the littlies in the shallow area. With Keppel Kraken water park, children’s play area, parklands and dining venues nearby, you’ll be spoiled for choice!

BLUFF POINT WALKING TRACK

This 2.3km track showcases the dry rainforest, open grasslands and mangroves of Capricorn Coast National Park. Look for spangled drongos, rock wallabies and goannas. Climb to Turtle Lookout for panoramic views of Keppel Bay. 

COOBERRIE PARK WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

Curious about scaly, cuddly, feathered, scary or shy creatures? Cooberrie Park Wildlife Sanctuary has 10 hectares of natural bushland and rainforest housing more than 300 animals. Handle a snake, cuddle a koala or see the daily interactive show. 

EMU PARK HISTORIACAL TRAIL & MUSEUM

Take a trip through time with Eric the Emu. Twenty statues of Eric and his family mark the trail through Emu Park. Interpretive boards QR code links and historical sites reveal stories and photographs of life in times past. 

THE CENTENARY OF ANZAC MEMORIAL WALK

Set your alarm for dawn to experience a moving tribute to the ANZACs. This globally acclaimed memorial walk is set against a stunning coastal backdrop. As you walk, admire artworks and the gallery of interpretive works. Reflect on a timeline of WWI featuring stories of bravery and sacrifice at Gallipoli and other major battles. 

THE SINGING SHIP

Enjoy stunning water views as you absorb the sights and sounds of this remarkable 12-metre-tall ship, which “sings” as wind blows through steel pipes. The monument commemorates Captain James Cook, who names the bay in 1770. 

Capricorn Caves

This unique system of above-ground caves in a limestone ridge is believed to be 390 million years old! See real fossils from ancient rainforest mammals and megafauna, threatened native flora and fauna. There’s challenging caving adventures, night tours, even Underground Opera events.
