SHORT WALKS

Easy, attractive walks are minutes away. The Falls walk takes you to a swimming hole. The Kauri Block track has town and harbour views. Walk through Kauri forest at Long Bay. Or try the 1.5-hour Harray Track loop.

Why should kids have all the fun? This quirky New Zealand theme park offers play and adventure the Kiwi way – activities for people of all ages. Creative upcycled attractions include flying foxes, swimming holes, jumping boards and a huge water slide.

Hertitage Walking Tour

Take a guided heritage walking tour with Boom, Bust and Beyond Tours, and delve deep into the fascinating history of Coromandel Town.

Explore heritage buildings, Māori history, kauri logging, the infamous gold rush and the big fire of 1895, just for starters.

The walk is suitable for all ages and abilities, including wheelchairs, buggies and strollers. A minimum of two adults, with children free. Private tour groups can be arranged.
