Tasman Holiday Parks – Summer Peak Season Booking Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all bookings made for the Summer Peak Season at Tasman Holiday Parks.
Why These Rules Exist
Summer Peak Season is the busiest and most joyful time in our parks, with many families returning year after year. These guidelines help us manage high demand fairly, protect availability, and ensure every guest has a smooth, enjoyable holiday experience. Clear expectations mean fewer surprises — so you can simply arrive, relax, and enjoy what matters.
1. Peak Season Special Rate Eligibility
The Peak Season Special Rate applies only to stays during the Summer Peak Season for 2026/27. Because this is our busiest time of year, bookings during this period may have specific minimum-night requirements, set arrival or departure days, and limited availability across some accommodation types.
This special rate is available for:
The Peak Season Special Rate is not transferable to other dates, cannot be combined with other discounts unless specified, and is only valid for the dates and accommodation originally booked.
2. Deposit & Payment Schedule
To secure and maintain your booking during this high-demand period, a staged payment schedule applies. Each payment must be made by the due date to keep your booking active.
Payment schedule:
If you are unable to meet a scheduled payment, please contact the park before the due date so we can discuss possible arrangements.
Failure to Pay
If payment is not received by the due date and no contact has been made, Tasman Holiday Parks may automatically cancel the booking and retain all monies paid to that date. While we will make reasonable efforts to assist wherever possible, notice of cancellation cannot be guaranteed during this peak period.
3. Booking Modifications
Modifications to your booking can be made up until 1 December 2026, subject to availability and any applicable rate changes.
From 1 December 2026, all bookings become non-refundable and non-amendable. This includes changes to dates, length of stay, guest numbers, and accommodation type.
If you wish to move your stay outside the Summer Peak Season, this will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, and the cancellation terms will apply.
4. Cancellations
Cancellations are permitted until 1 December 2026 with a full refund of all amounts paid.
From 1 December 2026, all bookings become strictly non-refundable and non-amendable. This applies to full cancellations, partial cancellations, reductions in stay length, and changes to guest numbers or accommodation type.
No refunds or credits are available for any nights not used due to weather, travel delays, late arrival, or early departure.
No-Shows
If you do not arrive on your scheduled arrival date, the booking will be treated as a no-show and cancelled. No refund or credit will be provided.
Refund Method
Any approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected events that may impact your stay.
Force Majeure
If your stay is affected by an event outside of Tasman Holiday Parks’ reasonable control — including severe weather, natural disasters, government directives, pandemics, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances — Tasman Holiday Parks may be required to amend, suspend, or cancel bookings.
In these situations, refunds are not guaranteed; however, we will work with you to offer a suitable alternative such as:
Park Closure or Evacuation
If the park is required to close, evacuate, or restrict access due to safety concerns or government orders, any remaining portion of your stay that cannot be used will be handled as follows:
Refunds are not guaranteed in these situations, as closures and evacuations are beyond the park’s control; however, our team will always make reasonable efforts to support you.
5. Guest Details & Requirements
Bookings must be made under the name of the guest who will be staying. A valid name, phone number and email address are required so we can communicate important information about your stay.
The total number of occupants must be declared at the time of booking and cannot exceed the maximum capacity for the accommodation or site type. Additional guests may only be added if the accommodation allows and must be approved prior to arrival.
We will always do our best to honour special room or site requests; however, these requests are not guaranteed and depend on availability at the time of arrival.
6. Guest Behaviour
Summer Peak Season is a vibrant and busy time in our parks. To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy their stay, we ask all guests to be considerate of others and follow the park’s rules and guidelines throughout their visit.
Respectful behaviour, reasonable noise levels, and care for shared spaces are expected at all times.
