North Star – fun for the entire family
Kickstart your family’s adventure at North Star with an array of exciting in-park activities designed to entertain and delight visitors of all ages. Once you check in, drop the kids at our FREE Kids Club and head over to our onsite licensed café for happy hour, which is daily from 2 pm – 4 pm. While the kids are watching movies at sunset, linger a little longer for our Beers and Beats sessions with live music and dinner specials to suit all tastes.
Across the weekend, explore the sprawling grounds on pedal karts, offering a fun and active way to see the sights and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Challenge your loved ones to a friendly game of tennis on the resort’s well-maintained courts, perfect for some outdoor fun and bonding time. For indoor entertainment, head to the games room, where you’ll find a variety of games and activities to keep everyone entertained for hours on end.
One of the highlights of North Star is Sammy’s Adventure Lagoon, a paradise for water lovers of all ages. Dive into the sparkling waters and enjoy the splash park’s various features, including two massive 8.2m high waterslides and interactive water play areas. Even during the cooler months, pools are heated to a warm and inviting 28 degrees, which means the aqua-filled fun never ends! Please note: Sammy’s Adventure Lagoon will be closed for refurbishment from 22nd July to 30th August(*Please note; date is subject to change); however, our heated pool will remain open for guests to enjoy.
Let someone else wash the dishes and head over to our onsite Ripples Licensed Café, open across the weekend from 8 am for a coffee and hearty breakfast, a lunch by the pool, or a dinner with family and friends to satisfy all taste buds. As a popular stop on the Humpback Highway, the Tweed Coast is an excellent spot for whale watching. There are some great spots to see them cruising by, especially Hastings Point headland. It’s only a short walk from North Star, and you’re almost guaranteed to see them in action on any given day, all the way through to November. Pack a picnic, and we’re sure you will have a whale of a time.
