Spend the day swimming or beach fishing on this beautiful sandy beach fringed with shady palm trees, and finish off with a cold beer at the Cape Gloucester pub.

AIRLIE BEACH LAGOON

Relax by a huge landscaped pool and man-made beach, complete with gardens, BBQs and playgrounds, Enjoy stinger-free swimming all year round. 

A serene waterfall cascades down a rocky cliff into a calm pool surrounded by lush green trees. Three people enjoy the water; one is floating on an inflatable, another is near the water's edge, and the third is wading nearby. The atmosphere is peaceful and natural.

CEDAR CREEK FALLS

Enjoy spectacular waterfalls, majestic white cedars, palms and wild orchids, colourful butterflies and tropical birds, then swim with fish, turtles and lizards in the clear rock pool.

BICENTENNIAL BOARDWALK

Join the locals on a 4km boardwalk stretching from the Airlie Beach lagoon to Cannonvale Beach. It’s a great spot for walking, cycling or just taking in the ocean views.

We respectfully request that your room be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Beyond that time, you are welcome to leave your luggage in the reception area if required. For a late check out, please contact reception (fees may apply for a late check out). Please bring your key to reception upon departure. If you are leaving prior to 8am, please use the key deposit box next to the reception door on your way out. Please turn off your air-conditioning and ensure that garbage is bagged and removed from your room upon departure.

Tasman Holiday Parks – Airlie Beach is an 18-minute walk along a footpath into central Airlie Beach; this path is well lit at night. You will be given a local map during check in. If you would prefer to catch a bus, there is a bus stop directly outside of our park. Buses run every 20 – 30 minutes from 6am to 10pm. A bus timetable is available at reception.

The local taxi service is excellent and are usually at the park within 5 minutes of booking. You can book by dialing 131 008 or we can call one for you at reception during reception hours.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can book all Whitsunday Island and reef day tours, sailing, fishing, jet boating, skydiving, overnight trips, flights and island stays. We can also provide advice on where to fish, walking paths, tracks and other activities if you would prefer to not go out on the water. Please call our friendly staff on 07 4860 1700 to discuss. Please try to book your tours as early as possible as some tours are regularly booked out days in advance. Many of the tours will pick you up directly from reception. 

Our kiosk is open from 8am to 6pm selling some basic grocery items such as UHT milk, cold drinks, ice creams and stubby coolers. Our kiosk also offers DVD hire and book exchange. We also sell washing powder and can make change for the washing machine facilities at our park.

Laundry facilities are located in the amenities block. The machines use $1 coins and change is available at reception. We also sell washing powder. Any clothing left on washing lines overnight is at your own risk.

When changing dials, please wait two minutes before any further adjustments are made. It could take a few minutes for the air conditioning unit to function properly. Please turn off the air conditioning unit when leaving the room.

The Friendly Grocer is only a short 3 minute walk from the park, and is open from 6am to 9pm daily.

The Jubilee Tavern is located across from the park and offers great meals at reasonable prices. They have a great children’s play area, sports bar, TAB, pokies room, bottle shop and an ATM.

Yes it does – The swimming pool area has a BBQ, picnic tables, deck chairs and a public toilet. Children must be supervised at all times in our pool area. For everyone’s safety, no glass is allowed in the pool area. Smoking is also not allowed, however, we do provide an ashtray outside at the pool area gate.

Wi-Fi connection is available for all guests staying in the park; we have a number of hotspots around the park. The password will be given to you during check-in.

A full first aid kit is available at the reception desk.

Bikes, skateboards and scooters are permitted in the park during daylight hours. Helmets MUST be worn. Please watch out for cars. The speed limit in the park is 5km per hour.

Yes – We have push bikes for either half day or full day hire; and pedal buggies for hire by the hour. They come complete with helmets. To book your ride, please chat to our friendly staff.

For the comfort of future guests, all rooms are strictly no smoking. Please feel free to smoke outside on the verandah or balcony using the ashtrays provided.
