MIRANDA SHOREBIRD CENTRE
Visit the bird hides or join a guided tour to identify endemic species such as the New Zealand Dotterel and Variable Oystercatcher. Spot Arctic migrants such as Godwit, or the endangered Eastern Curlew.
KARANGAHAKE GORGE
Drive, walk, tramp or mountain bike to explore this stunning gorge between the Coromandel and Kaimai ranges. The Windows Walk and Historic Walkway highlight the gorge’s natural beauty and relics of the mining era.
THAMES GOLDMINE

TAIRUA & PAUANUI BEACH
