Tasman’s Rollingstone – Park History

Tasman Holiday Parks Rollingstone was originally developed in 1984. The park initially developed three large lakes, the first of it’s kind in QLD, to provide swimming spots for guests to cool down in the tropical climate. However, it soon became clear that a more traditional style pool was required and better suited to the climate, so the resort style pool that you see today was put in and the lakes turned into barramundi fishing spots.

In 2014 the park transferred ownership, which saw the addition of the jumping pillow and the containership bar installed, along with 15 new cabins.

The first Rollingstone Rocks Festival was held in 2016 and has been held every year since on the last weekend of November (excluding COVID in 2020). The festival draws a huge crowd to the park, who come to celebrate and enjoy live music, old cars, and great food, including the famous wood fired pizza’s, over the course of a weekend.  Tasman Holiday Parks acquired Rollingstone in 2021 and has continued the traditions.
